Series of 18th Century Hand Colored Botanical Engravings

These exquisite hand colored engravings were produced by Georgio Bonelli, a physician and botanist In the 18th century (ca. 1775) and painted by artist Cesare Ubertini. They are exceptional for their lovely detail and their vibrant color. The engravings are beautifully matted and their subtle silvered wood frames complement, but don’t compete with the art work.
