Interior by Hearth, Oil on Canvas

A charming oil on canvas depicting a warmly observed domestic interior centered around a traditional hearth. Painted with loose, expressive brushwork and a softly muted palette, the scene captures the quiet character of everyday life, from the pottery and vessels arranged along the mantel to the cabinet beneath a sunlit window. Particularly lovely is the contrast between the dark architectural elements of the hearth and the softly illuminated plaster walls, with a small vase of yellow flowers providing a bright note of color.
