A Pair of Louis XVI Style Bergère Chairs

A pair of elegant Louis XVI style bergères with a squared back and a loose seat cushion. The graceful chairs have many of the lovely details characteristic of the Louis XVI style, including subtle carving, fluted arm supports, tapered fluted legs, and decorative rosettes at the die joins (where legs meet the apron of the chair). Painted in a light gray, the chairs have developed a worn, soft patina over the years.
