Cathy Graham, celebrated artist and floral designer, came to Locust Valley to sign copies of her book: Second Bloom: The Art of the Table. In this beautiful edition, Cathy shares her secrets for hosting a party, from hand-drawn invitations to artfully arranged tablescapes using not just flowers, but fruits, vegetables or charming miniatures.

In celebration of her new book, Charlotte Moss Entertains, we hosted a gathering for friends, designers and clients, including wine and delicious bites prepared by the inimitable Mar Slocum! The youngest guest brought an arrangement hand picked from her own garden for Charlotte!

Meg Braff and I were delighted to welcome LA-based designer Mark Sikes to Locust Valley for a book signing party. Our event attracted many of Mark’s fans and followers, eager to get a signed copy of his book, Beautiful: All American Decorating and Timeless Style.

I was honored to be asked to participate in the annual New York Botanical Garden Orchid Dinner. This year, the big event was held at the storied Plaza Hotel. All proceeds from the Dinner (and the sale of rare orchids during the cocktail hour) support the Botanical Garden’s orchid research collection and conservation efforts.
